The basis for sports
Equine Sports Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, a preferred form of body work therapy by many trainers and riders, now globally recognised in playing a major part in your horses performance and aids in reducing the risk of injury by optimising range of motion and decreasing muscular imbalances/restrictions. Horses with an athletic career such as polo, show jumping, dressage and eventing will perform manoeuvres that can induce repetitive strain injuries. Like most competing human athletes, horses can benefit from maintenance treatments, pre and post competition treatments and aids in de-stressing.
